How to program a CIRCLE (or ARC) command on a FANUC Teach Pendant

college robotics program This video demonstrates how to program a Circular motion command, resulting in a full 360 degree circle. Demonstration is completed on FANUC Robotics RoboGuide simulation software. The presentation was given as part of an Robot Programming class at Madison Area Technical College. These classes are funded through an (EDA) grant and are designed for incumbent manufacturing workers. Classes are offered for credit and can be applied towards an “Automated Manufacturing Certificate.” http://matcmadison.edu/eda

Robotics Engineering as a Career Path

college robotics program Speaking from the floor of Connectioneering at RIA’s Robotics Industry Forum, Professor Jim Devaprasad gives an overview of the LSSU robotics program and testifies about RIA membership. LSSU is ONLY 1 of 3 universities in the U.S. with robotics specialization at the undergraduate level. Nearly 100-percent of their graduates find employment as engineers (companies include FANUC Robotics, GM, Applied Manufacturing Technologies, GE, JR Automation and Kawasaki Robotics).
