ABOUT THE PROJECT:
According to the UN Convention on Rights of Persons with Disablities, 15%-20% OF EVERY country’s population is affected with a disability. This would equate to at least 650 MILLION people worldwide with disabilities.
For disabled people, simple tasks which you and I probably don’t give a second thought to, become frustrations. They can’t reach for things up in shelves, they can’t prepare a meal or drink on their own. They either have to rely on someone else or have a kitchen custom-built for them.
Bearing in mind this year’s theme, “Robots Improving Life”, we hereby present to you, “BOTS IN THE KITCHEN, MAKING EVERYDAY CHORES EASY”!

ABOUT THE VIDEO:
A two and a half minute video with a 140 MB file size, took 3:57 hours to render. I spent like 15 hrs in total making this video. Incorporates some After Effects plug-ins such as Optical Flares, Trapcode Particular, Trapcode Shine, Form and Starglow.
Effects were done in After Effects cs4/cs5 while compilation, HD-HQ rendering were done in Vegas Pro 10 as well as some additional text/effects.
BTW: Flames effect = Claret School’s flame ablazed for its passion for life and excellence….

Congratulations to Claret School of Quezon City Open Category Robotics Team for being 7th Place in the 10th Philippine Robotics Olympiad.
I know we could have done better but we lacked parts and TIME (only started first week of August unlike other schools which started like sometime in early April). Anyway, Thy will be done.
