Programme

During three days delegates of WFAD will be able to attend seminars and participate in work shops which will focus on the drug problem in the world from different angles and perspectives.

It was in 1909 in Shanghai, China that the first international meeting about international drug control took place. Countries started cooperating in order to reduce the problem of drug abuse. What can we learn from history and how is the situation today? Where are the good examples and how can we develop our work in the future?

The main theme of WFAD is therefore ”100 years of drug prevention – how do we move forward?”.
